After installing "Xcode Legacy Tools" (to get c++filt3) and making a c 
++filt symlink, I see

I'll try to extract the errors from testsuite/gm2.log.

A couple of notes:

I still find it's necessary to remove $(LIBS) from the cc1gm2  
dependencies.

The gm2-harness doesn't seem to work on MacOS X (Tiger, at least).   
After checking out the gm2 tree from CVS, it reports that the CVS  
checkout has failed.  I've tried putting #!/bin/bash instead of #!/ 
bin/sh in the shell-bin scripts as well as using CVS 1.11.21 instead  
of the system default 1.11.18 to no avail.
