The GNU Hackers' Meetings are a venue to discuss technical topics related to GNU
and free software. GNU Hackers' Meetings have been taking place since 2007: you
may want to look at the pages documenting most past editions at
  https://www.gnu.org/ghm/previous.html
which in many cases also include presentation slides and video recordings.

The event atmosphere is always friendly and informal. Anybody is welcome to
register and attend, including newcomers.

The next GNU Hackers' Meeting will take place in İzmir, Turkey on Saturday 1st
and Sunday 2nd October 2022.

We updated the web page https://www.gnu.org/ghm/2022 with information about the
venue, accommodation and transportation.

We are interesting in hearing about your GNU or other free software project: if
you have a technical presentation to give you are more than welcome to register.

New projects and new people, even without a long public speaking experience, are
particularly welcome. As soon as more talks are confirmed we will also add a
preliminary programme on the web page.

The event is organised by Egeyar Saiu who takes care of the logistics and by
Luca Saiu who is dealing with the event schedule. You are welcome to contact us
by mail at ghm2022@gnu.org , or to write to the public mailing list
ghm-discuss@gnu.org .

We are looking forward to meeting you.

I support everyone's freedom of mocking any opinion or belief, no
matter how deeply held, with open disrespect and the same unrelented
enthusiasm of a toddler who has just learned the word "poo".
