Hello Uwe & all,

great works! I tried the version from GitHub and it builds and runs fine. System is the upcoming Ubuntu 22.04.

Well done! :-)

Kind regards

Stefan

Hello all!

The Gnome Commander team is happy to release version 1.14.0 today.
Amongst many changes, this version comes with the long awaited
migration away from GnomeVFS to GIO. This made it possible to close a
number of open issues which all have been depending on this migration.
The oldest issue, the use of the desktop trash can, was waiting 15
years for completion…

More information can be found at the release notes under

### New features:

  * Optional usage of the trash can instead of permanent file deletion (see
issue #2)
  * Removed internal file search dialog, instead use external command for file
search
  * Name of connected remote server is shown in the directory indicator (see
issue #71)
  * New menu entry for (un)selecting only files

  * Fixed issue #41 (Directory not unreferenced correctly from cache when

  * Fixed issue #46 (Automatic refresh of folder content is not correct)
  * Fixed issue #47 (Duplicate directory when copying over an existing
directory)
  * Fixed issue #51 (Move and not copy by default on same filesystem)
  * Fixed issue #52 (Auto refresh when changing permissions etc)
