[gcmd-dev] directory list updates sometimes not necessary ?

If i copy the pwd to the active pane (CTRL+ .) the 'source' pane is also 
updated and reset to the top. If i scrolled this one at a specific position, 
this position is lost.
I have very long directory lists, and loosing a position can mean quite some 
seconds to scroll to the former position again, while i would expect to just 
work on with what i tried to do with "Ctrl ." Is it possible to disable this 
resetting of the actual pwd in this case ?
