Hi folks,
i'm back from farm holidays and some travelling, and curious of new gcmd
features :)
Trying to compile from cvs, i had to reinstall some libraries like libglib-dev,
libgtk2-dev
and libgnome2-dev. Maybe the old versions were deinstalled automatically after
the last
gnome/libc6 upgrade ? Dunno.
There are still some unresolved macros:
Processing ./configure.in
Running libtoolize...
You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to `aclocal.m4'.
Running glib-gettextize... Ignore non-fatal messages.
Copying file mkinstalldirs
Copying file po/Makefile.in.in
Please add the files
codeset.m4 gettext.m4 glibc21.m4 iconv.m4 isc-posix.m4 lcmessage.m4
progtest.m4
from the /usr/share/aclocal directory to your autoconf macro directory
or directly to your aclocal.m4 file.
You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.
[ ... ]
Running intltoolize...
Running gnome-doc-common...
Running gnome-doc-prepare...
You should add the contents of '/usr/share/aclocal/gnome-doc-utils.m4' to
'aclocal.m4'.
The following libraries will be used:
glib : 2.12.3 in /usr
gtk+ : 2.8.20 in /usr
gnome : 2.14.1 in /usr
gnomeui : 2.14.1 in /usr
gnome-vfs: 2.14.2 in /usr
Since getting deps topgether is a common task when compiling from cvs i wonder
if
i could extract the libraries from some configure or makefile, and to hack a
tool which
automatically installs necessary dependencies...any idea how to extract such a
list ?
cu, micha
