hello,
I just want to comment on Aman's query regarding running the framework locally, for running it locally

1.  firstly you need to follow some instructions which are given on this page - https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/freetype-devel/2020-07/msg00147.html.
2. one thing that I was also missing at first that you have to change the name of the cloned file from 'freeType' to 'freetype2'.
3. make sure to install all required stuff and you should have test-fonts that contain .ttf files inside your home.

I think this will sort your problem as far as i have understood it :)
