Now applied, thanks.

I urge all users to test the new v40 mode, comparing its output with
both the v35 and v38 modes!  As usual, if you compile FreeType with

  make devel
  make           ,

all three hinting modes are present in the library.  Additionally, the
FreeType demo programs have been updated to support v40 also.
