[ft-devel] problem with "bold" quality recognition

Hello everyone,
I have two  bold fonts,  which have "bold" style marked in the "name" table 
(Name ID 2 - "Bold")  and a "bold" weight (as shown me by Fontlab), 
but Freetype's  "face->style_flags & FT_STYLE_FLAG_BOLD" returns false.
Where does Freetype look for a bold and italic style? I would be
grateful for any comments. 
I am attaching problem fonts.
