[ft-devel] no-cygwin configure / freetype 2.3.2 bug

I can't configure and make a no-cygwin build of freetype 2.3.2 under cygwin:


./configure CC="gcc -mno-cygwin" && make

gives me the attached output, which finishes with
could not open '/home/gchilds/D/freetype-2.3.2/include/freetype/freetype.h' for
writing
make: *** [/home/gchilds/D/freetype-2.3.2/objs/ftexport.sym] Error 3
