[Devel] unpatented hinting api & ftcache api

Hello,

I have two questions, both regarding features being lately developed:

1. Is the new ftcache API (introduced in FT 2.1.8) considered stable?

2. Is there any way to select unpatended hinting, when obtaining
   face via ftcache (like FTC_Manager_LookupSize), or only way to do it
   now is to use FT_Open_Face (yes, I know about global hook...)

   At least shouldn't it be availalble in future?
