[Devel] FreeType 2.1.4 fails with empty contours (Type 1)

We have a problem with FreeType 2.1.4: Some PostScript Type 1 fonts have 
glyphs with empty contours (just a start point, then closepath).

FreeType causes a segfault with them because the linked list of contour 
points is invalid when a contour has only one point (count = 0)

Sample problem fonts:

(these are public domain fonts in common circulation; they were created 
with Fontographer 3.5 and Metamorphosis and the outlines don't look TOO 
bad...)

Any fix for this yet?
