[Devel] Adobe Dingbat Fonts - do they work at all in FreeType?

Hi Folks,
         I gather from the lack of response to my question about Adobe
Dingbat fonts that their non-usefulness in FreeType is a known
bug that no one knows how to fix.

Is this correct?

If so, we'll look at another solution in AbiWord.
