Apple's docs for MDRP say: 
              If the device space distance between the measured 
              value taken from the uninstructed outline and the 
              single width value is less than the single width 
              cut-in... 

But the test in the code (ttinterp.c:5711) 
              if ( ABS( org_dist ) < CUR.GS.single_width_cutin ) 
should it not read 
              if ( ABS( org_dist-CUR.GS.single_width )< 
              CUR.GS.single_width_cutin ) 

A similar problem exists for MIRP (ttinterp.c:5800)
