This is in David's court, but I suspect that it is not an oversight, but a
question of time.
By the way, I have never found a good (free) AFM to PFM (and vice versa)
converter. Do you know of one? Part of the problem is that the PFM spec
is buried at MSDN. Bleah! There is an Adobe TN that describes additions
to the PFM format for CID keyed fonts, but it assumes knowledge of the
original PFM format. Then there is also the issue of MMM files (PFMs for
MM fonts; MMM is to PFM as AMFM is to AFM).
