Oops, I accidentally tarred up the complete builds/ directory and not only
my changes. Sorry.

You are right. GNU make thinks that /usr/bin == C:\usr\bin. Arrgh...

Not for me and my Cygwin/UWIN stuff ;-)
UWIN doesn't even have the /sbin directory (btw. has /sbin always been there
on HP-UX? I don't think so, but can't remember correctly).
I have to build FreeType on HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, maybe IRIX _and_ UWIN
consistently. I rely on passing down CFG=--prefix=... to FreeType's
makefiles for configure and I don't want to know about Windows stuff.
I'll look for some other solution.
