Dear Martina,

I haven't worked with order parameters in mbtools so I won't be of much help here. One thing you could try is simulate a flat membrane and calculate the order parameter as a function of temperature. See if things make sense in that simple case before coming back to a vesicle.

there appears to be a reversal of the sign.
