Dear all,

The 'analyze set chain' provides 3 arguments: chain_start, n_chains, and
chain_length. However, the chain_start argument seems to be
systematically ignored and set to 0 (line 773 of statistics_chain.c:
'pc=0' rather than 'pc=chain_start' ). Is there a reason why that is so?

Also, is there a reason why we can't incorporate chains of different
lengths? I understand there may be many properties for which one needs
identical chains, but in some cases it could be useful to have it the
other way, for example with virtual sites.

Thanks,
Tristan
