Hi Stefan.

Sorry the delay. These are really crazy days...
Here is : - a 1st general flow proposal with a point to discuss, - with 1 example of how each step could be structured.

The idea is to make the wizard as a framework in such a way that it's
really easy to add, remove or change each step and specific options and
defaults. We can envision a script that embodies the interaction and
takes the information (sequence, prompts, options, etc.) from an
external file, for example.
You'll see here no internal details of each big step since they don't
make sense without context (what goes before and what follows).
I'm including both the Dia source and a pdf just in case it appears
mangled.

I tried -still without success- to express this in text only. I would
gratefully accept suggestions of formats or structures that could work
for most of the emacs community.
If you believe it's presentable, I can send this to the rest in the mail
thread. Of course, we can also schedule a brief talk if you'd like. Some
things are easier interactively. ;)
I'm new to the emacs community in this depth and I know that UX is not
known much here (or in many places, still), so, I would appreciate a lot
some guidance so as not to make anyone mad with this and align
expectations, communications and styles. :)
Best...
