It looks like Debian GNU/Linux systems have a modified Info tree: for
example, the Info file for Emacs is called `emacs-e20' instead of just
`emacs'.
This breaks features such as "C-h C-f", @xref's from other Info files,
and :link cookies, which look for a specific file name. (Perhaps the
Debian maintainers fix some of these problems manually, but at least
"C-h C-f" misfired for me on fencepost.gnu.org.)
What do people think about possible solutions to these problems?
