Hi Eduardo,
after deleting eev from 2023 12 16 I re-installed eev and to my
surprise, all works.
I'm sorry to have bothered you.
But I tested the actual version with killing and restarting emacs, to
see, if it is a reproducable problem.
Seems the installation from melpa did not end correctly.
