When user runs eev-beginner there is this link below, it generates
buffer, helps user to download video, but if video is not in "snarf"
then there is no explanation that user has to press F8 to run those
functions
1. Installing eev
=================
The easiest way to install eev is with `M-x list-packages', as
explained in this video:
http://angg.twu.net/2020-list-packages-eev-nav.html
http://angg.twu.net/eev-videos/M-x-list-packages-eev-nav.mp4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxBjiUo88_U
The three links in the "Video links:" block below
[Video links:]
(find-eevnavvideo "0:31" "0.1. M-x package-initialize")
---------- as then this buffer appears:
# (find-psne-1stclassvideo-links "eevnav" "0:31")
# (find-efunction 'find-psne-1stclassvideo-links)
# (find-psne-intro "1. Local copies of files from the internet")
# (find-video-links-intro "5. Local copies")
# (find-video-links-intro "5.1. Subtitles")
(sh-mode)
(eepitch-shell2)
(eepitch-kill)
(eepitch-shell2)
however, you are telling them to install eev -- but most probably they
already installed it. But now F8 pointers are missing.
Instead it could be better like this:
# (find-psne-intro "1. Local copies of files from the internet")
# (find-video-links-intro "5. Local copies")
# (find-video-links-intro "5.1. Subtitles")
# Now press F8 at each of following lines and watch what is happening
(sh-mode)
(eepitch-shell2)
(eepitch-kill)
(eepitch-shell2)
P.S. The recipe to run functions is useful as installation instruction
for many software, as user can watch command by command what is
happening without typing much. What I mean is README instructions at
online repositories. For any additional packages to eev, you can or
could include such instructions to install or download them. Like
Squeak or other software.
