That's a good point -- my thinking was that GNU projects should stick
together, and that there should be a GNU-centric distro (which is GNU Guix,
essentially).
And as of now, there is no official GNU desktop environment and SDK for
said desktop environment. GNUstep and one of its desktop environments
could possibly fill that role.
