Hello guys, I would like to ask if it is possible to build gnustep packages on windows, I have currently built libobjc2 on windows but can't build libs-base and libs-gui, I know I can use mingw but that is too old, I still want to build the latest gnustep libraries through the gnustep repository. Is this possible and how can I do it? Thanks! Best regards!
depending on what you need... if you don't use libobjc2, all works quite fine on windows. You can use mingw, but bet is msys2 and a lot of things work just natively and easily. Base and Gui are of good support, I use wind32 backend which works for most stuff.
Things compile and work out-of-the box almost like on linux. I updated a fortnight ago and updated several apps and those which were supported on windows continue to work fine. ProjectCenter, StepSync, DataBasin compile. I can provide screenshots.
I will do a new retest the coming days. Riccardo
