Thank you for the info. I had a little bit of time today and finally got
gsnd to compile by replacing the bits that won't compile with that of
v18 snapshot and add -lpthread to ADDITIONAL_LDFLAGS += in
gnustep/core/gui/Tools/gsnd/GNUmakefile.preamble. The sound is a bit
slow to start but it does work. Attached is the diff.
