sorry for not giving you feedback on this from any "offical" GNUstep person earlier. As I currently have only limited internet access I focused more on things closer at hand.
Your code changes were highly welcomed and I will try to integrate them into the CVS source next week. As you probably already noticed there is some basic code for NSRulerView in GNUstep since more than half a year now. So I will have to merge your code with that. You could avoid the same situation for NSRulerMarker by starting out with your development on a recent snapshot or even better, by trying to get the most recent CVS update.
