In Virtual Box, setup the LAN adapter as bridged. It will get an
address from your DHCP server, and you will be able to SSH to it.
The wrinkle is, if your host is connected via wifi. If your host is
wifi connected, then guests cannot use bridging to get a DHCP address.
In this case, use an ethernet/usb adapter for the host. Then the
bridged adapter will be available.
