It's not just that: some of those platforms aren't even supported by
Gnulib.  For example, DJGPP (a.k.a. "MSDOS") support was AFAIK
dropped, and MinGW (a.k.a. "native MS-Windows") is not supported on
systems older than Windows 7 or 8.1.
