True. For GNU gv itself I am looking for translators, see
https://savannah.gnu.org/people/viewjob.php?group_id=7009&job_id=550
for details.
Daniel Molina and Nicolas Jean (in Cc.) already declared
themselves to be ready to help PDF readers programmers to have an
interface respectively in Spanish and French.
Well, the french translation of GNU gv has been submitted a few days ago
(I've just commited it to the public git repository of GNU gv). But
surely the download page would benefit from a french translation.
For spanish, both, translation of GNU gv and of the download page, are
missing. Contributions are welcome.
We might be able to reach
other languages through the translators' team of FSFE.
That would be fine. My job description linked above gives more details.
Would you be interested in letting us helping you with the translation
of the interface? If yes, please contact us to fix the technical details.
I am very interested - you see, currently I am searching translators for
GNU gv, too.
IMHO the download page should only be available in languages GNU gv has
been translated to. It does not really help anybody if he "can"*
download GNU gv, but he cannot use it because he does not understand the
user interface.
* of cause you can always download GNU gv without understanding the
download page, just visit some GNU ftp mirror.
For translating GNU gv (not the downlaod page) I have a (private)
subversion server where the translators can submit their translation
files. I am creating logins on that server for translator.
For translating the login page, suggestions are welcome, especially how
to handle that.

PS: http://www.pdfreaders.org/ should be corrected: GNU gv runs on Mac
OS X, too (as an X11 program). E. g.- http://www.macports.org/ will
offer all you need on Mac OS X (basically Xaw3d, ghostscript and a few
X11-Libraries). Their repository just contains build scripts and (if
necessary) patches.X.
