Follow-up Comment #1, bug #55475 (project groff):
Furthermore, "relocate" is apparently only used in your local copy of
localcharset.c, which is unconditionally compiled and used even though all
glibc > 2.1 already contain a similar version (without the crash bug). It
might make sense to conditionally compile localcharset.c .
