Follow-up Comment #14, bug #50989 (project groff):
Deri,
I've made a second version of your patch `bug-50989-v2.patch' as the one you
posted can no longer be applied on master. All the tests are OK on my side.
File `typesetting.pdf' is now correctly generated. I've also used two files
(see attachments) `basic_fonts.tr' and `urw_fonts.tr' that use all available
fonts; without your patch lots of the fonts of basic_fonts.tr cannot be used,
and the problem is well fixed with your patch. I've tested with ghostscript
9.21 and also made non-regression tests with the old fonts installed by older
version of ghostscript.
So you can commit on master the patch, unless you saw some other problems.
I think you should also commit CheckType1.pl as it's a usefull tool. I would
also like to commit `basic_fonts.tr' and `urw_fonts.tr' (in font/devpdf) if
you agree. It would be better to have a way to automatically check the output
of these files and add the test into `make check' but I know no easy way to
check a pdf.
