Possible bug

I just encountered a problem with formatting a table in a groff (-ms
macros) document that contains lots of tables and equations, including
equations in tables.  Basically, in one of the tables I had an extra tab
at the end of the .TE line.  This caused tbl to ignore the .TE with the
expected mess the subsequent lines caused.  Took quite a bit of time to
track down the cause.

Shouldn't the parser ignore whitespaces at the end of control lines?  If
so, this is a bug.
