שלום יצחק,
Looks like a useful feature for serious players.

side comment:
I think it is a little misleading to think in terms of "because of the position or because of the score."
The position is not divorced from the scoring system (be it match play or money). The moves and cube action depend on the whole (position + score). Different score systems give different weights to wins, gammons and backgammons, therefore cube action varies according to score.

Hi,

A week ago, Aaron Tikuisis and I asked for new features that would enable us to evaluate a cube or checker decision at other scores.

We decided to start implementing them. I have finished implementing a first feature with a new "Money Eval" button. Here is a picture of the result:

When the button is toggled, it provides a hypothetical evaluation of the cube decision for the same position in money play (i.e., independently of the current score). It is quite useful when trying to understand whether gnubg recommends doubling because of the position or because of the score.

Is there a possibility to incorporate the code to gnubg? If so, should I clean it then share it on CVS? (It is currently on github)

Side notes:
- I am not a good programmer. If there is a volunteer to check and optimize my code, this would be with pleasure.
- You can see a 2nd button below ("Score Map"). Aaron is now working on implementing another feature that would look like the temperature map and would provide the cube decision at i-away j-away.
- I found a few bugs while developing. I will report them to the Savannah system.

Thanks,
Isaac
