The opponent strength can be changed through the Settings / Players
menu. GNU is normally Player 0, the one on the top of the screen. You
want to set its strength at World Class or one of the following levels
(but 4ply is probably too slow for enjoyable play).
The important point is to use at least World Class. The higher levels
are only marginally stronger and WC already plays better than any human
player.
