Does anyone know why in Debian linux gnubg automatically makes itself the default application for a whole bunch of incorrect mime times, and how to fix it. For those reading who are not Linux users; a mime type is like a file association. For some reason a huge number of files types become associated with gnubg. So something that might normally open in a web browser will launch gnubg. Its pretty annoying.
This is probably a known issue. And ideas or suggestions
