Hi Sharon,

 

There is no official GNU Backgammon for Android that I’m aware of.

 

However, I believe that Backgammon NJ is based on Gnu BG. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.njsoftware.backgammonnj&hl=en_GB

 

I’ve not used it myself, so I can’t comment on how good it is. The reviews are good (apart from the whining about cheating dice that every computer bg game gets), and the developer seems responsive.
