If I can get a copy of your gnubgautorc file that would be a starting
point. That can be found in your user directory under the .gnubg sub
directory.

Are you using 2D mode or 3D? I'd see if the issue exists in 2D mode.
When it freezes is it doing anything in particular. Are you doing an
analysis or playing against the bot? If playing against the bot (and it
freezes) are you using WC, Grandmaster, 4ply? If it freezed while doing
an analysis the same question applies.

Knowing what you are doing when it freezes will help us.
