Are you referring to the popup boxes that appear showing you information from
time to time in the middle of the screen? if so this might help:
This is a side effect of how certain output is displayed on the Windows
platform (I assume this is Windows you are referring to). One work around is to
turn on the "message" panel. To do this pull down the "View" / select "Panels"
and then put a checkmark beside "messages". You won't receive the informational
messages as popup boxes but the output will be put in a message window on the
right hand side of the board.

You can also use Settings\Options\Other to turn off some of the confirmation
messages.
