Looking at the code I don't think that running more instances should
cause problems, but the code gives up on autosaving entirely if
creating the tempfile for autosaving fails just once. Could be that's
what happens. Another potential problem is that the old autosave is
removed before the new one is completed, so crashing at an unfortunate
point could also loose the autosave. I'll update the code to fix these
problems.
