I do have these tools installed. I'm not at home so I can't check the versions though. I'll email a more detailed description of the steps I did prior trying ./configure asap.

Thanks for the feedback

P.S.
Christian sorry if you received this twice.

As Michael already hinted at, the snapshots should not be expected to
build without the proper tools installed. Including, but not limited

Hi,

I'm trying to compile this snapshot: gnubg-source-SNAPSHOT-20081004.tar.gz
on RHEL 5
and getting the following error upon ./configure:
configure.in:101: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_ERROR
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
    See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:102: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_WARN

Now I'm not experienced in linux in general. I think I've resolved all
dependancies and done everything correctly.

Is it possible there is a problem with the snapshot or am I missing
something much more basic.

any help appreciated

thanks
stelios
