There is still a lessor problem because the 3D board is very slow. And with acceleration turned off, even the GNU moves on the 2d board are slightly slower, even though my moves appear to be at normal speed.
So for now, I'll just use the 2d board, and maybe look into tweaking my graphic card driver later.
