[Bug-gnubg] GNU Backgammon

Hi, I'm a fan of backgammon and after not having played it for ages, did a search to find a free variant and found yours. Years ago, I played NetGammon a bit until my friend and I got stroppy with each other over the use of the cube. At the time, the GNU Backgammon was a new project with nothing released. It sure was a nice surprise to see how your hard work has progressed. I've been running the game in 3D mode and love it.

I think the range of boards could improved and the graphics quality of them made even more realistic but I honestly have to say, I don't recall any other version of backgammon I played being this pretty. I'm a hopeless player so haven't won a game yet but it is an addictive game anyway.

Not sure if I've missed it but one feature I'd like to see is the ability to specify an IP address of another player to have a 1-on-1 game over the net without having to use FIBS.

All the best with it!
