[Bug-gnubg] Bearoff Database error

I'm getting a strange error when running a database query.

OS Bearoff Database: Invalid Argument
aargh!

I've only seen this error when running gnubg-no-gui over a mapped drive
on a network. There are a whole bunch of these 2-line messages (the
"aargh" is part of the message), then gnubg proceeds to the next trial.

Gnubg-no-gui and the database are on PC1. PC2 has PC1's Program Files
mapped as drive E: and is running a rollout.

The problem may only occur if several other PCs are doing the same, but
I'm not sure.

What does the error mean?
How does gnubg respond when it gets this message.
Can I avoid it?
Are my rollouts dead?

Regards,
Ian Shaw
