Well, here's the key issue then: I *always* save my SGG games in the
same directory. This is normal, as only one program produces them: the
GamesGrid client. So I also *always* import them from the same source
directory. It is possible that on very rare occasions I will receive an
SGG file from a different source, such as by e-mail, or by floppy.
However, 99% of the time, I import it from the same source. Same goes
for other formats.
Now, it IS possible that I can import one from a floppy (1% of the
time), make some changes to my analysis features, and then save the
settings as you suggest. However, I think that most users will be doing
what I am doing, and that is to import consistently from a same
directory. Because I believe that is the case of the majority, I think
that the default procedure should accommodate this and make it as easy
as possible for users to set their preferred import directories. Just
MHO.
