Dear Mohammad,
At long last I have time to install v0.8, but found a strange problem:
./configure claims it does not find cfitsio, while it is obviously there!
In my .bashrc file I have:
# Make sure the PATH includes the right directories
export
PATH="/usr/local/texlive/2018/bin/x86_64-darwin:/usr/local:/usr/local/cfitsio:/opt/local/bin:/sw/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/texbin:/Users/dvg/bin:/Developer/usr/bin:/Developer/usr/local/bin:/usr/ImageMagick-6.6.1/bin:/Users/dvg/anaconda/bin:$PATH"
I also have
export fitsio="-L/Users/dvg/Computing/cfitsio/lib -lcfitsio -lcurl -lm"
export CFITSIO="/Users/dvg/Computing/cfitsio"
export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/lib:/opt/local/lib:/usr/local/lib/plplot5.6.1:/Users/dvg/anaconda/lib:/usr/local:/usr/local/cfitsio"
Although I usually prefer my Computing/ directory, I made a copy in
/usr/local
As you can see from the log file attached, it fails when checking for
cfitsio, yet everything seems fine (unless I'm too tired to see the
obvious). What I am missing? I'll deal with the other libs later on.
This is a new Mac 10.13 laptop, after my faithful (10 years old!) mac
was living near-death experiences daily.
Besides this, how is life going?
All the best,
David
