[bug-gnu-libiconv] Missing makefile.gnulib when building from source

Hi,

I'm trying to install libiconv:

I have cloned:

$ git clone https://git.savannah.gnu.org/git/libiconv.git

$cd libiconv
$ ./autogen.sh

I get the following error:

configure.ac:22: installing 'build-aux/install-sh'
configure.ac:22: installing 'build-aux/missing'
automake-1.15: error: cannot open < srclib/Makefile.gnulib: No such file 
or directory
make: *** [Makefile.devel:76: srclib/Makefile.in] Error 1

What can I do to fix that error?

Any help is appriciated.
