Yes, it's not the latest Eglot already.  Eglot has been getting features
complex features and bugfixes in master that I haven't backported.
Eglot with Emacs 29.1 will be 1.12+simple bugfixes.

So if you're offline or don't like ELPA at all or are on sshing to a
machine, you can still have a decent LSP experience (well provided
you install a LSP server).
