Those miss rates are similar (1.7 % and 1.5 %, respectively) although rather 
higher than we'd like. Probably no serious regexp cache thrashing going on 
then, but it was good to be able to exclude it, thank you for humouring me!

Right, that's consistent with the data collected above.
