Of course, *if* you use "z" to specifically set a particular page size,
*then* that page size remains fixed.  That's what the "z" command is
for.

What does that have to do with this case?  The bug that we are talking
about is that, if you *don't* use "z" to specify a particular page size,
then emacs scrolls by the initial window size, rather than by the
current window size.  And that's nothing like any behavior of "less"
that I am able to reproduce.
