So, your point is that if you change the size of an emacs window by
resizing the frame, then you should get a different behavior than if you
change the size of the window within the frame???

I played around with less, and I don't understand how to get SPC and DEL
to scroll by any amount other than exactly the viewable portion of the
file.  Are you claiming that it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't?
When does it not?
