Details:

When run in an OS X environment containing MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.10,
gettext's configure scripts incorrectly select "-flat_namespace -undefined
suppress" for linking, instead of "-undefined dynamic_lookup. (See
https://trac.macports.org/ticket/45715.)

We've patched gettext in MacPorts
(https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/devel/gettext/files/yosemite-libtool-twolevelns.patch?rev=127662),
so you could fix the relevant Libtool macros in an analogous way.

Since the causative bug in Libtool 2.4.2 and earlier has been fixed in 2.4.3,
you could also regenerate your build files using 2.4.3.
